We’re currently looking to recruit an experienced TIG Welder to join a well‑established team based in Morpeth. The role involves welding mild and structural steel across varying thicknesses, working to high quality and safety standards.
Job Specification:
* TIG welding steel components ranging from 3mm to 25mm
* Reading and working from engineering drawings
* Producing high‑quality welds to meet specification and tolerances
* Carrying out basic quality checks on completed work
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Personal Specification:
* NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Welding, Fabrication
* City & Guilds Welding qualifications would be advantageous
* Coded welder certification desirable but not essential
* Time‑served welders with strong TIG experience
* Negotiable rate
