The Role
We are recruiting an experienced Welder Fabricator for a full-time, permanent position based in a workshop in Matlock. The role involves a split between welding and fabrication, working mainly with mild steel and from full engineering drawings.
This is an indoor, workshop-based role with stable, long-term work and regular overtime.
Key Responsibilities
MIG welding of mild steel components
Fabrication from full working drawings
Cutting, assembling, and welding materials
Ensuring high-quality workmanship and accuracy
Working as part of a workshop team
Requirements
Previous experience as a welder fabricator
MIG welding experience (mild steel)
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Own tools required
Reliable and hard-working
