Job Overview:
We are looking for a fluent Welsh-speaking Supply Teaching Assistant to support schools in the Bangor area. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and confident in supporting pupils through the medium of Welsh across a variety of school settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teachers in delivering lessons through the medium of Welsh
Assist pupils with their learning on a one-to-one or small group basis
Promote the use of Welsh language in the classroom and wider school environment
Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere
Provide additional support for pupils with extra learning needs where required
Adapt quickly to different schools and classroom environments
Requirements:
Fluency in Welsh (essential)
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting (preferred)
A positive, patient, and flexible approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
