The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Wills, Trusts & Probate Lawyer to join our growing private client team. You will manage a varied caseload including estate planning, drafting wills and trusts, probate applications and estate administration, while providing an approachable and supportive service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of private client matters from instruction to completion
• Drafting and reviewing wills and trusts in line with current legislation
• Advising clients on estate planning, inheritance tax and asset protection
• Handling probate applications and liaising with the Probate Registry
• Administering estates, including asset distribution and settlement of liabilities
• Working closely with clients, executors and beneficiaries
• Collaborating with financial advisers and other professionals where appropriate
• Supporting networking and business development activities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in wills, trusts and probate
• Qualified Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer with a current practising certificate
• Ability to work independently with secretarial support
• Strong organisational and file management skills
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism
• Interest in networking and developing client relationships
