Our growing focus on water and environmental solutions, alongside a wider array of consultancy services, means we are seeking to appoint an experienced Principal Environmental Consultant with both a strong technical background and the ability to manage projects throughout their lifecycle.
We are looking to appoint a Principal Environmental Consultant who has relevant experience in the water sector and beyond. Of particular interest is an understanding of and experience in one or more water related environmental technical disciplines, such as water quality (marine and freshwater), surface water management and hydrogeology, and should ideally be able to demonstrate some of the following:
Competence and experience in applying detailed knowledge of water quality chemistry.
Experience of analysing large datasets of ground and surface water quality data.
Understanding of the links between water quality and aquatic ecology.
Understanding of a remediation techniques for contaminated ground and surface water.
Excellent understanding of the UK water industry and its regulation.
Ability to manage technically complex large water environmental projects.
Strong project and programme management/direction skills to ensure a high level of service.
Appreciable people manager experience, involving supporting the development of staff through mentoring.
An environmentally related degree (ideally with a post-graduate qualification also).
A clean full UK driving licence.
Collaborative people manager who has ability to develop and support others.
Keen to develop and own segments of our service offering.
