Workshop Administrator

Brook Street Recruitment is working with a client in Ballyclare to recruit a full-time, permanent Workshop Administrator.
Key Duties
Accurately record daily technician clock times and monitor punctuality/absence
Maintain workshop planning system, including holiday scheduling and job tracking
Check and process technician job packs, resolving any issues
Monitor workshop activity and challenge job timings where needed
Provide regular updates to service advisors on vehicle progress
Coordinate repair quotations and ensure all additional work is authorised
Track breakdown activity and technician time compliance
Support training scheduling and technician availability
Complete customer invoicing as required
Carry out ad hoc administrative and reporting tasks
Essential Criteria
Previous administrative experience within a workshop, automotive, transport, engineering, or similar environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
High attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
Confident working with numbers, invoicing, and technical documentation
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Effective communicator with a professional and collaborative approach
Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Commercial awareness and commitment to team performance
Honest, reliable, and works with integrity
Desirable Criteria
Knowledge of heavy vehicle workshop processes and technical terminology
Experience with workshop planning/management systems
