Role Purpose To provide flexible operational support that reduces sweeper driver downtime and ensures the workshop, yard, and fleet remain clean, safe, and in good working order. This role supports daily depot operations, assists the workshop team, and helps maintain vehicle readiness. Employment Type: Full-time Permanent Working Hours - 40 hours per week Key Tasks & Responsibilities Daily truck washing and greasing , ensuring vehicles are clean, safe, and maintained to company standards. Assist the workshop team , including helping with repairs, MOT preparation, and general workshop duties. Operating High-Tip

according to our Health and Safety Process. Pick up and deliver parts , brushes, and equipment to and from suppliers and drivers on site. Deliver sweepers or spare vehicles to drivers during breakdowns

to minimise service disruption. Shuttle full vehicles to registered tipping facilities , returning empty units to drivers to reduce downtime. Ensure all weighbridge and waste-transfer notes

are handed in correctly to the depot office. Change worn centre and side brushes

on spare vehicles. General housekeeping and yard maintenance , keeping the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and safe at all times. Skills & Qualifications HGV Class 2 licence

with

up-to-date CPC

(essential). Strong

customer service skills

and a professional manner at all times. Flexible approach

to work and scheduling to meet operational and customer needs. Ability to carry out practical, physical tasks and work outdoors when required. Our Core Values 1.
