This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early literacy and building strong KS1 foundations. The school is seeking a teacher who can create a structured, engaging environment where pupils feel supported as they develop confidence in reading, writing, and maths.

The role as a Year 1 Teacher:
Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
Support early phonics and literacy development
Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Requirements of a Year 1 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs welcome
Previous UK primary classroom experience
Strong KS1 curriculum knowledge
Positive behaviour management
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available
