The role as a Year 2 Teacher: Deliver engaging and structured lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
Support pupils in phonics, reading, writing, and maths
Prepare pupils confidently for end of KS1 assessments
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Requirements of a Year 2 Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs welcome
Previous UK classroom experience xehkeey
Strong KS1 curriculum knowledge
Effective behaviour management
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
