Supply Heroes are working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Coleshill to recruit a Year 5/6 Teacher for the full academic year. September 2026 - July 2027

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs, with strong support and guidance available. The school is looking for someone with excellent KS2 curriculum knowledge who can confidently prepare pupils for the transition into secondary education.

You’ll be joining a welcoming team with a focus on high standards, pupil progress, and creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

The Role

* Full class responsibility for a Year 5/6 class

* Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

* Prepare pupils effectively for end of KS2 expectations (including SATs readiness)

* Differentiate learning to support a range of abilities

* Track, monitor, and assess pupil progress

* Foster a positive, focused, and inclusive classroom environment

* Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

* Communicate effectively with parents and carers

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Has strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum (essential)

* Is confident in teaching upper KS2, ideally Year 5/6

* Has a good understanding of assessment and pupil progress in KS2
