We are working with a highly regarded and supportive primary school in the Borough of Islington, currently seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. The Role:

Lead a Year 6 class with a focus on strong academic progress and SATs preparation

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Assess pupil progress effectively and maintain accurate records

Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment

Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team and contribute to whole school development

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

Proven experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6

Confident in preparing pupils for SATs

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Excellent communication and organisational abilities

Passion for raising attainment and supporting all learners
