About the Role

Staffordshire Council is seeking a dedicated Personal Advisor to support care-experienced young people aged 16–25 as they transition into independent living. In this role, you will:

* Support young adults through their journey to independence.

* Empower young people to develop essential life skills for their future.

* Provide practical support, advice, and guidance.

* Fulfil statutory responsibilities under the Leaving Care Act.

What We’re Looking For

You will need:

* Significant experience working with children and/or young people.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships.

* The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with multi‑agency professionals.

* A solution-focused approach to achieve the best outcomes for care-experienced young people.

* The ability to travel across the county as required.
