Hill McGlynn Recruitment are currently recruiting for multiple Commercial Maintenance Engineers (Electrical) on behalf of a well-established regional contractor delivering maintenance services across public sector buildings.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers seeking stable, long-term employment with strong benefits and consistent local work.
The Role:
You will be responsible for planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of public buildings, ensuring systems remain compliant, safe, and operational.
Key duties include:
  • Electrical fault finding and repairs
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive call-outs
  • Minor installation works
  • Completing job reports and compliance paperwork
  • Liaising with facilities teams and clients on site
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3+ years of commercial maintenance experience
  • Strong fault-finding ability
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable working independently across multiple sites
Package:
  • Salary up to £45,000 DOE
  • Overtime available
  • Company van (private use permitted)

  • Permanent contract
