SEND Teaching Assistant required in Hammersmith & Fulham to support a student with ADHD

A welcoming Primary School in Ealing is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a student with ADHD. This role is ideal for a patient and empathetic individual with experience or a keen interest in working with children who have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, helping them succeed both academically and socially.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Providing focused 1:1 support to a student with ADHD, helping them stay engaged and on track with their learning in a classroom setting. Implementing tailored strategies to manage attention, behaviour, and emotional regulation, ensuring the student can fully participate in school activities. Working closely with teachers, the SEN team, and parents to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that address the student's unique needs. Monitoring the student's progress, adjusting support as necessary, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
