The school is looking to take on a dedicated 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis starting in September. The successful 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant will be working closely with a specific pupil, providing tailored support to aid their learning, emotional development, and engagement within the classroom.
The successful 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant will have:
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working as a 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant or supporting children with additional needs
• Strong understanding of primary education and classroom support
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and adaptable attitude
