ANZUK Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Kingston Upon Thames to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a high-needs pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful difference in their learning and development.

The Role:

Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with high needs ASD

*

Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional regulation throughout the school day

*

Implementing strategies to support communication, behaviour, and social interaction

*

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals

*

Creating a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Experience supporting children with ASD and/or additional needs (school-based or transferable experience)

*

Calm, patient, and resilient approach

*

Strong communication and teamwork skills

*

A genuine commitment to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing

*

Relevant training or qualifications are desirable but not essential
