The Role – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be providing targeted support to 1 pupil in Year 5 with ASD. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to help the students stay engaged in lessons and access the curriculum. The ideal candidate will be patient, supportive, and committed to helping pupils build confidence in their learning. You will assist with adapting classroom activities, encouraging positive behaviour, and supporting the children’s social and emotional development. Previous experience supporting children with SEN, is essential.
