A full-time opportunity has become available for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Newham. This long-term role is available for an immediate start and offers a competitive daily rate of £90 to £115, depending on experience.

The Role - 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them to access learning and engage positively within the classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support strategies and follow individual education plans.

The role requires strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil. Experience supporting children with needs such as ASD, ADHD, or speech and language difficulties is highly desirable.

You will play a key role in promoting independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing, ensuring the pupil can thrive both academically and socially.
