1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional needs in a welcoming Primary School in the Hyde area.
The Role:
Full-time, term-time position
Long-term opportunity
Working 1:1 with a pupil with SEND
Supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional development
Start ASAP
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience supporting children with SEND (autism, ADHD, or complex needs)
A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
Confidence working on a 1:1 basis and adapting support strategies
Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with teachers and SENCOs
Responsibilities Include:
Providing tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day
Supporting engagement in classroom activities
Helping to implement individual support plans and strategies
Creating a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment
