1:1 Teaching Assistant - Upper Key Stage 2 - Stafford - Start Date: As soon as possible!

We are seeking to appoint a nurturing and supportive 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 6 on a part-time, temporary basis for the remainder of the academic year. Your input will be valuable and allow you to support the pupil with day-to-day learning for the remainder of the academic year.

You will be supported by all staff within the lovely, small village church school and work closely alongside the SENCO who will support and guide you. It also allows for the opportunity to network within a reputable and established Multi Academy Trust. The behaviour of all students within the school is outstanding and each child is driven by a motivation to learn. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will require the flexibility to work with both Year 5 and Year 6 pupils due to working within the mixed year group. You must have a kind, caring and nurturing nature with the ability to hold a high standard of professional conduct at all times.

Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd. Confidence in supporting a child within a Year 6 class - supporting them through the busiest period of the year. A positive and 'can-do' approach to all aspects of school life. The ability to deliver and adapt activities to support the child with day-to-day learning. The ability to use positive and a 'praise culture' to assist and encourage pupils. Commute to Stafford daily - working in a small Church school on the outskirts of Stafford. Working collaboratively with staff and parents is essential. Flexibility to adapt quickly to the new setting on a temporary basis, this is crucial.We are looking for someone who:

Experience supporting children within a Year 6 class, in particularly on a 1:1 basis. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Enhanced DBS. Provide 2 teaching references. Available to start ASAP. Able to commute to the outskirts of Stafford. Willing and able to work under the guidance of the class teacher. Fully registered to work with Academics.Pay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
