#32012 - Senior Embedded Software/Embedded Linux Engineer A leading company based in a key UK location is seeking to bolster its team with a Senior Embedded Software/Embedded Linux Engineer. Joining a skilled team of 5 Engineers, the ideal candidate will bring senior-level expertise in Embedded Linux, with experience in Yocto or similar frameworks being highly beneficial. This established company, with a history spanning over six decades, has been recognized for its commitment to workforce excellence, evident in its recent achievement of a prestigious silver accreditation in Investors In People (IIP). Key Responsibilities In this role as a Senior/Lead Embedded Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include programming in C or C++ on Embedded Linux platforms. You'll be involved in developing new products as well as enhancing existing ones. Skills & Experience

Proficiency in full life cycle embedded software development. Strong background in C/C++ programming. Experience in developing embedded software systems with Linux (Yocto preferred) on ARM architectures. Excellent attention to detail, along with analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of IoT development principles is advantageous. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
