Job Opportunity: 360 Excavator Operator (Civils/Housing)
Location: Darlington, County Durham
Rate: £22 per hour CIS
Duration: Ongoing Long-term Contract
We are looking for an experienced and reliable 360 Excavator Operator to join a fast-paced civils team on a major residential housing development in the Darlington area. If you're a skilled operator who takes pride in a tidy site and precise work, we want to hear from you.
The Role
Working as part of a groundworks gang, your primary responsibilities will include:
Deep Drainage: Excavating trenches for foul and surface water systems. Foundations: Digging out footings and pads to exact specifications. Roads & Sewers: Assisting with the initial infrastructure and highway works. Grading: Finishing works, including battering and leveling. Safety: Adhering to strict site health and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Valid CPCS or NPORS Card (Above and Below 10 Tonne). Lifting Ops endorsement (preferred). Proven Experience specifically on housing sites and civil engineering projects. Full PPE and the ability to provide recent work references. A "muck in" attitude-while your primary job is operating, a willingness to assist the groundworkers when necessary is highly valued.Interested? Send your CV to Rhianna in the Newcastle Office.
