3rd Line Support Engineer – Birmingham
£50,000 – £54,000 + excellent benefits
An experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer is required to support and enhance the IT infrastructure of a Birmingham-based organisation. This is a senior, hands-on role focused on resolving complex technical issues and acting as the highest point of escalation.
Key Responsibilities

Act as 3rd line escalation for complex incidents and problems
Support and maintain infrastructure across servers, networks, cloud, and virtual platforms
Provide technical guidance to 1st and 2nd line teams
Ensure systems are secure, resilient, and compliant (NIST, Cyber Essentials)
Support infrastructure projects and work with third-party suppliersEssential Skills

Proven experience in a senior 3rd line or infrastructure support role
Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory
Experience with cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), networking, and firewalls
ITIL experience (incident, problem, and change management)
