Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting 7.5 tonne Driver for one of the largest Logistics companies based at Kent Aylesford Maidstone ME20 7WT.
Role mainly consists of delivering good directly from the airport to warehouse, Depot to Depot or depot to households in the safest way following all Health and Safety guidelines.
Logistics Distribution and supply chain.
Key Duties:
Perform daily vehicle safety checks
Efficiently plan routes for timely deliveries
Deliver and collect parcels to/from homes, businesses, and depot locations
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Accurately use and maintain your digital tachograph
Ensure all collections and deliveries are completed within the shift windowCandidate Requirements:
Full UK Licence(7.5 Tonne)
A minimum of 1 years driving experience
Maximum 6 points on your licence - no DD/DR convictions
5 years of verifiable work history
Willingness to undergo a UK criminal background check
Strong attention to detail and a dependable, "can do" attitude
Good customer-facing skills and ability to work independentlyShift time:
08:30 - 18:30.Pay Rates (Hourly):
Days: £14.56 to £21.84 ph. Rota-based - must be flexible with days/timings
Candidates will need to complete an assessment (theory + practical).
