AC / Refrigeration Engineer - Midlands\n \n Hill McGlynn is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing building services contractor for an experienced AC / Refrigeration Engineer to join their team covering the Midlands region. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for stability, strong earning potential, and long-term career progression. \n Salary & Package \n£40,000 - £47,000 basic (dependent on experience and skill set) \nOTE £60,000 - £65,000 with overtime and bonuses \nTravel time paid on any travel over 1 hour per day \nRegular overtime opportunities to significantly boost earnings \nCompany van, fuel card, phone, and uniform provided \n29 days paid holiday \nCompany pension scheme \nFull-time, permanent position Role Overview You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of a range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across commercial sites throughout the Midlands.

\n Key Requirements \nMinimum 5 years' experience within the M&E / air conditioning sector \nStrong experience working on refrigeration systems including: \nWalk-in cold rooms \nDrinks chillers/langers \nStandalone units \nProven fault-finding and repair experience on: \nVRF systems \nSplit systems \nAbility to work independently on: \nRefrigerant recovery \nPressure testing \nBrazed repairs \nCompressor changes (VRF and split systems) \nExperience working with major manufacturers such as: \nDaikin \nMitsubishi Electric \nToshiba \nPanasonic \nAbility to produce clear and detailed remedial and repair reports \nComfortable working both independently and as part of a team \nPrevious experience working within commercial environments \nParticipation in a 1-in-4 call-out rota \nFull UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points) Qualifications \nF-Gas Category 1 (essential) Why Apply?
