Account Director — Independent Agency Partnerships

London | Hybrid | £60,000–£70,000 Base + Uncapped Commission


A growing programmatic AdTech business is hiring an Account Director to lead and expand strategic partnerships across London’s independent agency market.


The company delivers data-led digital advertising solutions built for a privacy-first ecosystem and has established strong momentum within independent agencies. This role will take ownership of senior agency relationships, driving long-term commercial growth and increasing share of agency investment.


The Opportunity


This is a senior commercial role responsible for developing high-value agency partnerships and delivering sustained revenue growth. You will operate as a trusted partner to agency leadership, shaping commercial strategy while identifying new opportunities across existing and target accounts.


Responsibilities


  • Own and grow revenue across a portfolio of London independent media agencies
  • Build senior relationships with agency leadership, investment heads and key decision-makers
  • Develop strategic account plans to increase agency investment and long-term partnerships
  • Lead consultative sales conversations around programmatic and data-led advertising solutions
  • Drive both new business and organic account growth
  • Navigate complex agency structures and multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Collaborate closely with internal trading and client teams to ensure strong performance and retention


What We’re Looking For


  • Proven success selling programmatic, digital media or AdTech solutions at a senior level
  • Deep relationships within London independent agencies
  • Strong track record of delivering and growing agency revenue
  • Experience managing strategic accounts and senior stakeholder engagement
  • Strong understanding of programmatic trading, planning and agency investment dynamics
  • Commercially driven with a consultative, partnership-led approach


Package


  • £60,000–£70,000 base salary
  • Uncapped commission (typical OTE £110k–£130k+)
