A brand new opportunity has arisen for a well-established, dynamic and international Lloyd's Broker, who now have a brand new vacancy within their Special Risks Division.

Within this exciting dual client and market facing position, you will be assisting with the management and growth of a portfolio of Overseas Development clients, focused on land mind clearance assistance and disaster recovery. With exposure to dealing with cross-class risks, there is an emphasis on Accident & Health risks.

Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day account management for a portfolio of risks, inclusive of Accident & Health, Kidnap & Ransom, Liabilities, Marine Cargo, Contractors All Risk, Professional Indemnity and Directors & Officers Risks
• Providing a first class service to Clients and Retail Broker Partners and providing expert insurance advice
• Negotiating favourable terms on behalf of clients and placing complex risks
• Building and maintaining client and market relationships
• Attending client meetings - business travel may occasionally be required
• Working closely with colleagues and identifying new business opportunities and market trends

About You

• 5 years + of London Market experience required, either as a Broker, Account Executive or Account Handler
• Our client is open on business class experience, however, having experience in dealing with pl Accident & Health, Liability, Kidnap & Ransom, Terrorism or Contingency Risks is desirable
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills
• Ability to work independent or as part of a team
