Account Executive – Ad Sales (Global Accounts)

Location: London - Hybrid (Tues–Thurs: Office / Mon & Fri: WFH)

Duration: ASAP until 19 November 2026 (Maternity Cover)


Role Overview

As an Account Executive Ad Sales, you practice and embody selling in both internal and customer settings. You use your comprehensive knowledge of your client’s business, the advertising industry, and your vertical to identify and enable longer-term opportunities for one or more customers by driving joint business plan development, account-level strategy, and annual activation plans and developing new customer relationships and new revenue streams. You are a key contributor in delivering work including sales strategy development, pitching, customer relationship growth, and opportunity sizing. You influence cross-team collaborations to support customer growth, align on opportunity/project timelines and goals, and ensure solutions are presented to customers. You develop relationships with customers, acting as a key point of contact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Analysis: Draw interpretable insights from deep dives and data analysis, provide data-driven strategic and tactical recommendations to customers, partner teams, and leadership based on analysis and utilize insights to influence others and drive change.
  • Account Strategy: Help identify customer business objectives and set sales strategies for specific markets and customers in collaboration with internal partners based on research and understanding of the customer.
  • Business Planning: Create and own joint business plans for one or more customers based upon client business objectives to help create deeper relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure progress is being made against revenue goals.
  • Internal Collaboration: Develop strategies and tactics for creating account plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders and adjust plans as appropriate. Develop a network with multiple functions locally. Help identify opportunities to collaborate internally to strengthen internal communication.
  • Customer Point of Contact: Act as a point of contact for one or more customers/agencies around all key areas (e.g., training, product enhancement, global/regional campaigns). Drive cross-functional effort to identify, escalate, and solve customer issues.
  • Growth Identification: Help identify revenue and growth opportunities within the market and customer. Effectively coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine and drive the sales, revenue growth, potential of opportunities, and marketing efficiency.
  • Partnership & Leadership: Serve as a strategic partner to one or more customers to build, grow, and maintain high impact and long-lasting relationships with customers by understanding the client’s opportunities and challenges. Drive sharing and scaling of successes, opportunities for improvement, best practices, and learnings internally and externally.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in advertising and digital advertising industry, knowledge across search, and youtube.
  • Industry Focus: Previous experience managing accounts with a Fintech client, Finance clients, or Retail clients is highly preferred.
  • Account Management: Managed a client before either on agency side or on tech side.
  • Seniority: Part of global team - managing headquarters of clients they are working with. Important they need someone who understands political dynamics, strong influencing skills. As they will be influencing the influencers. Someone who has gravitas.
  • Attributes: Someone who can take full ownership, proactive, rolls up their sleeves and drives teams end to end.
