Account Handler / Project Manager
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 per annum (DOE)
We are seeking an experienced Account Handler / Project Manager to join a growing manufacturing business delivering bespoke solutions for the retail and commercial sector. This role is key to managing customer relationships and coordinating projects from initial brief through to production and delivery.
The Role
- Manage customer accounts and act as the main point of contact throughout live projects
- Take client briefs and translate requirements into clear project plans
- Process and raise purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely placement
- Work closely with design, estimating, and production teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitor timelines, budgets, and project progress to meet demanding deadlines
- Interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications
Skills & Experience
- Around 3–8 years’ experience within a manufacturing or retail-focused environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including joinery, metal fabrication, and plastics
- Confident reading and working from technical drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with experience using business or accounting software (e.g. Sage or similar)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and commercial awareness

Package
- Salary £30,000 – £45,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
- Monday to Friday working pattern
