A well-established and friendly, independent accountancy practice in Derby is looking to recruit an Accountant to join their team. **The firm are seeking to hire into a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant position, but they will also consider applications at the Supervisor to Manager grade**

The Role:

You will be involved in a varied workload, including:

Preparation of statutory accounts for a broad range of clientsSupporting clients with bookkeeping, MTD requirements, and cloud-based systemsPreparation of corporation tax and personal tax returnsAssisting with general client queries and ongoing supportInvolvement in wider, ad hoc duties depending on experience The role would suit someone with experience working within an accountancy practice environment, who is comfortable using modern bookkeeping software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks, and enjoys working directly with clients. Exposure to IRIS, including payroll, would be advantageous but not essential.
