Job Description
Our team is dedicated to providing clear communication on complex accounting topics and issues to non-specialists, interpreting and practically applying accounting standards in their commercial context. We also devise training materials to present on new and existing accounting standards and policies. Key to our success is intellectual curiosity and the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly, supported by technical accounting and IFRS standards experience.

At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 31 markets and with 56 years of unbroken profitability. Your intellectual curiosity and ability to grasp complex concepts quickly will be key to your success in this role.
What you offer
- Tertiary degree in business or commerce and relevant accounting certification (CA/CPA)
- Chartered Accountant with accounting experience either within a Big 4 Chartered Accountancy firm or in an Accounting Policy team
- Extensive experience within a technical accounting role
- Experience in interpreting and advising on impacts of changes in standards to the business
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience
