As an Accounts Administrative Assistant, you will be supporting the finance team with basic accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring to keep records organised and things running efficiently.

This Accounts Administration Assistant role has the following responsibilities:

Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with accounts payable and purchase ledger duties
Supporting the finance team with general administrative tasks
Communicating with suppliers and resolving invoice or payment queries
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Administration Assistant role:

Previous experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of accounting packages (sage) to update records accurately is highly advantageous
Ability to solve problems independently and with confidence
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Experience with accounts payable / purchase ledger
AAT Level 2 – Level 4 is desired but not essential
