Accounts and Tax Semi-Senior

We are looking for an Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior to join our Client’s Accounts and Tax Department, supporting the delivery of a wide range of Accountancy and Advisory services to their clients.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Preparing year-end accounts
• Preparing corporation tax computations
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns
• Bookkeeping and accounting duties
• Analysing, summarising and reconciling client accounting records
• Coding and posting data into accounts production software
• Preparing basic sets of accounts, corporation tax returns and VAT returns
• Assisting with more complex accounts, VAT and tax work as experience develops
• Completing associated administrative work
• Adhering to internal procedures and external compliance requirements
You will be expected to complete more basic tasks independently, with guidance and support provided on more complex work as required.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in a similar accounts or tax role
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach with clients and colleagues
