Are you organised, eager to learn, and ready to start your career in finance? We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our client’s supportive and growing team. If you enjoy working with numbers and want to build your accounting skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a real finance role.

Key Responsibilities:
• As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll help the finance team by supporting tasks such as:
• Sales Ledger: Assisting with customer accounts, raising invoices, and reconciling payments
• Purchase Ledger: Supporting supplier invoice processing and statement reconciliations
• VAT Returns: Helping prepare accurate submissions
• Credit Control: Monitoring debtor balances and following up on overdue accounts

About You:

We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant who is:
• Keen to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance
• Ideally studying towards, or interested in working towards, AAT or equivalent
• Comfortable using accounting software and Excel
• Organised, with great attention to detail and time management skills
• Friendly and keen to learn from colleagues while supporting the team
