Forge Talent have partnered with a leading, global business who due to continual business success are now recruiting for an additional Finance Assistant to join their high performing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and ambitious person with 12 months+ experience in an accounting role, looking to grow their experience in a global business environment that can offer genuine progression.

You will be joining a friendly team to cover varied duties, collaboratively.

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable duties: posting invoices, reconciling supplier statements, processing weekly and monthly payment runs.
Reconciliation of multiple global bank accounts
Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
Credit Control duties Chasing outstanding funds, allocation of incoming amounts, supporting with billing queries.
Supporting with imports and exports tax treatments
Learning how to trade with international subsidiaries across the group
Supporting with declarations and compliance inventory
Accounts Assistant Required Experience:
Previous experience gained in an accounting capacity (ideally with exposure to Accounts Payable processes and Bank Reconciliations)
A positive, proactive and motivated approach to developing in an accounting career path.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to strict time deadlines.
A logical and methodical approach to tasks.
Working towards AAT studies or a desire to do so.
Confident communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with the local and regional teams.
