Accounts Assistant Windermere (office-based) £30,000 salary and really strong benefits If you're someone who enjoys getting stuck into the detail, keeping things organised and being a key part of a finance function that genuinely matters day to day, this could be a really good opportunity. I'm working with a well-established, growing business based in Windermere who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support their finance team. It's a hands-on role with plenty of variety, and you'll be working closely with an experienced Management Accountant. This isn't a role where you'll just be doing the same thing on repeat. You'll get exposure across multiple areas of finance and play a key part in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. What you'll be doing: Daily reconciliation of income Monthly control account reconciliations Managing the purchase ledger Bank postings and bank reconciliations Supporting payroll checks and processes Handling invoicing and payment allocations Assisting with audit preparation Working closely with operational teams to resolve queries What they're looking for: Experience working in a busy accounts environment Comfortable with Excel Organised, proactive and able to manage your own workload Good communicator who can work across teams Someone who takes pride in getting things right Why it's worth a look: You'll be joining a supportive team where your role actually makes a difference day to day.
