Manager - Accounts & Business Advisory Glasgow, Scotland Full‑time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week) Up to £54,500 Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts & Business Advisory Manager to join our clients fantastic team in Glasgow. This is a key leadership role offering the opportunity to manage a diverse client portfolio, lead and develop a team and contribute to the firm's continued growth. The Role As a Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients while overseeing the delivery of work across your team. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high service standards, driving profitability, and building strong, long‑term client relationships. Key Responsibilities
Manage and take full ownership of a client portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact Oversee and support delivery across team portfolios, ensuring quality and efficiency Plan and manage workflow across the team, ensuring deadlines and utilisation targets are met Deliver high‑quality accounting and advisory services, with support from senior leadership on complex technical matters Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive advice and support Identify and develop new business opportunities, escalating where appropriate Lead, coach, and mentor junior team members, supporting their development Work both independently and collaboratively within a wider team Ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality outputs and client service
About You
ACA / ACCA / CA qualified (or equivalent) Proven experience managing a client portfolio within practice Strong background working with clients across a range of industries Demonstrated experience in team leadership, coaching, and mentoring Commercially aware with the ability to identify growth opportunities Strong communication and relationship‑building skills Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
