Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a specialist manufacturing business, based within the Retford area who have an exciting opening for an Accounts Receivable & Payroll Administrator to join their team. This is a dual function position combining accounts receivable and payroll administration. The role ensures the timely and accurate processing of payroll, effective credit control, and the smooth daily operation of visitor and switchboard activities. This position plays a key role in supporting healthy cash flow, maintaining accurate financial data, and providing a professional first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Accounts Receivable and Payroll Administrator Responsibilities:
Create and maintain customer records within the ERP system, ensuring appropriate credit limits are applied and monitored
Issue customer statements, invoices and raise credit notes
Conduct daily bank reconciliations across four currencies
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently
Prepare aged debtors reports and escalate high risk accounts
Chase overdue payments via telephone, email and written communication
Maintain accurate debtor records within the ERP system
Work with Sales and Production teams to resolve queries delaying payment
Support month end processes including accounts receivable (AR) ledger reconciliations and reporting
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and credit control procedures
Contribute to financial reporting by providing accurate AR data and summaries
Prepare monthly payroll data accurately and in line with agreed timelines
Calculate and input overtime, bonuses and other variable elements of pay
Reconcile manual employee time sheets with system data, resolving discrepancies with department heads
Required Skills & Experience:
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Experience working in a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role
Experience working with ERP systems
IT software skills – Microsoft Office Suite
