Accounts Semi-Senior responsibilities include:

Preparing financial statements in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards from source documents/records to final accounts for review by the appropriate manager
Preparing accounting schedules to support the balances and transactions included in the financial statements
Working on a wide range of accounts including FRS102, FRS102 1A, partnerships and consolidations
Developing and maintaining good client relations
Liaising with clients directly or through relevant managers to resolve queries or obtain further information

As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will be/have:

AAT Qualified or studying towards ACCA, or ACA
Strong practical knowledge/experience of accounts preparation with at least two to three years+rsquo; experience within an accountancy practice environment
Strong double entry knowledge and skill
Cloud based accounting systems knowledge +ndash; use of Xero and QuickBooks knowledge would be beneficial
Basic tax knowledge - awareness of how to do tax computations, PAYE, VAT

Hybrid working (2 days work from home)
Core working hours 10am-2pm
