Job Duties of the Accounts Technician / Part-Qualified Accountant include: Preparation of statutory company accounts Direct client interaction and relationship management Delivery of bundled services to audit-exempt clients, including: Preparation of company accounts Preparation of tax returns (subject to review by the tax team) Assistance with bookkeeping queries Xero support and client training Collaboration with the payroll team on related matters Support for clients, including preparation and submission of VAT returns What you need to be the Successful Accounts Technician / Part-Qualified Accountant: Part-Qualified Accountant or experienced Accounts Technician Ideal for candidates with a background in bookkeeping and accounts preparation Suited to those who have progressed through a practical, hands-on accounting pathway Must be comfortable speaking with smaller clients in a clear and approachable manner Strong communication skills and client-facing confidence are essential Experience with small business clients and owner-managed businesses (OMB) preferred.
