Temporary, Full Time This applies only to roles with a full time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above . (Teaching roles and jobs at Grade 11 and above (currently £31,505 per annum / £17.31 per hour) The purpose of this role is to deliver the Silver City Heritage and Place Programme (SCH&PP) Community Heritage Activities Plan, lead on the management of the public realm and green spaces priority projects and lead on the publicity and promotion of the SCH&PP. The role will involve working closely with community groups and third sector organisations as well as working closely with colleagues in the SCH&PP team and across Council services. Fixed-Term contract is for 5 years A degree in history, building conservation, architecture, building surveying, planning, community work or a historic environment related discipline. Demonstratable relevant experience gained in heritage events management, project management, community engagement or similar in a customer facing role Experience of managing multiple projects or activities Management of consultants and other specialists Proven ability to communicate at all levels and build and maintain a network of contacts and partnerships and to work with volunteers, community groups and colleagues Analysis of data and information and production of cogent reports Confident in the use of ICT systems and programmes, including Microsoft 365 Aberdeen City Council is an equal opportunities employer and we are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.
