POSITION: Actuarial Manager – Pensions Consolidation SolutionsASSIGNMENT NO: 29356As part of this role, you’ll be working within a leading Actuarial & Consulting team, consisting of over 400 pensions consultants and actuaries advising a diverse range of clients and stakeholders across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.The team advises on everything from helping trustees and sponsors to manage their defined benefit plans, running large-scale communications projects and implementing alternative reward and pension provision strategies. The breadth of work is extensive, offering excellent opportunities to gain new experiences and apply your skills across a wide range of challenges.One of the fastest growing DB pension consolidators in the market. The team currently manages over 60 pension schemes of varying shapes and sizes and continues to attract new schemes regularly.This is an excellent environment to develop your actuarial career – whether that’s gaining greater client exposure or taking on Scheme Actuary appointments. It’s a fast-growing team that provides real opportunity to influence how the offering evolves.What’s the Role?They are seeking qualified or nearly qualified pensions actuaries with significant industry experience.As a challenger in the industry, they are looking for individuals with strong pensions consulting and technical expertise, commercial awareness, and an entrepreneurial mindset.Day-to-day responsibilities include:Leading the delivery of advice to clients, managing key projects directly or with support.Engaging in both the technical and relationship aspects of client work, collaborating within teams and supporting the development of others.Assisting in business development activities with both existing and prospective clients.Schemes vary significantly in size, offering exposure to pension schemes ranging from £1m to over £200m in assets.Location & Working ModelThe schemes are serviced by a dedicated team with hubs based in Manchester and Scotland.
