Ad Hoc Primary Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants - Northamptonshire

TimePlan Education are currently looking to recruit reliable and adaptable Primary Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to support a number of welcoming primary schools across Northamptonshire.

We work with a wide network of schools and are particularly busy in Daventry (NN11), Northampton (NN2-NN5) and Rushden (NN10), with regular opportunities for ad hoc and flexible work.

This is a great opportunity for experienced TAs/LSAs, graduates considering a career in education, or support staff looking for flexible work that fits around other commitments.

The role:

You will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities may include assisting the class teacher with activities, supporting small groups, working 1:1 with pupils who may need additional support, and helping to maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.

We are looking for people who:

Have previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting

Are confident supporting learning in a primary classroom

Can quickly build rapport with pupils and staff

Are reliable, flexible and proactive

Have an interest in supporting children with a range of learning needs, including SEND
