As an Addictions Counsellor, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver our intensive, structured treatment programme. This is a role that blends hands-on therapeutic delivery with continued professional development and reflective practice.

Please note the working hours for this role are 9-5 Monday to Sunday. It is a 35 hours per week contract with the expectation that two weekend days per month are covered.

Key Responsibilities

* Facilitate interpersonal group therapy and 12-step study groups * Deliver psychoeducational workshops and individual case management sessions * Build strong, recovery-focused therapeutic alliances * Share clinical insights with the wider team to ensure safe, coordinated client care * Maintain professional standards in line with clinical and regulatory guidelines

Ideal Candidate

* We are looking for an individual with the skills knowledge and experience below * Knowledge of addiction and its impact * Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, * Ability to learn new systems including to input onto electronic record management systems * Experience of working with at times distressed individuals, listen to their needs and communicate respectfully and clearly * Experience of thinking creatively with the team to create meaningful outcomes for clients and family members * Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
