Job Description
We have an exciting new opportunity at PCE for an Administration Apprentice to work as part of our Business Improvement team.
The Administration Apprentice will be responsible for will support the smooth running of the office while developing practical administrative and professional skills as part of an apprenticeship programme. Working closely with the Office Manager and wider team, the apprentice will assist with reception duties, office coordination and general administration tasks.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a busy office environment while learning key business and organisational skills. The apprentice will receive guidance and training while building confidence in communication, organisation, and professional workplace practices.
Summary
Contract: Apprenticeship – Permanent Role
Location: Tamworth, Head Office.
Reports to: Office Manager

Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Reception & Communication
- Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or meeting room
- Answering incoming calls and transferring them to the relevant team member
- Taking messages and ensuring they are passed on promptly
- Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area
- Responding to emails and enquiries in a professional manner
- Communicating with colleagues to pass on information or requests
Administrative Support
- Photocopying, scanning and filing documents
- Supporting with data entry and document organisation
- Managing incoming post and parcels
- Assisting with outgoing mail and deliveries
- Supporting the team with basic administrative tasks
Office & Meeting Room Coordination
- Booking and managing meeting rooms using the calendar system
- Preparing meeting rooms before meetings
- Ensuring meeting rooms are clean and organised
- Supporting meeting set-ups where required#
- Ordering and monitoring office stationery and supplies
- Helping maintain office equipment and supplies
- Supporting office events or internal activities where required
General
- Work with managers and colleagues to learn administrative processes
- Support other departments when administrative assistance is required
- Maintain confidentiality and handle information in line with GDPR
- Participate in apprenticeship training and development activities
- Carry out other reasonable duties as required by the business
