Administration Coordinator (Admissions - Education Sector)

Recruitment Hunters are recruiting for Admissions Administration Coordinators for their Higher Education client based in Cambridge.
We have a Fixed Term Contracts available starting ASAP till the end of April 2026, with a possibility of extension or a permanent opportunity at the end of the FTC (Approximately 8 months).
These roles are suitable for graduates with excellent administration and customer service experience to assist students with the university admission process.
The role involves providing a fast, efficient, and welcoming service to all customers, proactively pursuing student recruitment and conversion within the Central Admissions team. Flexibility to work weekends or extra hours during peak periods may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process student applications from initial enquiry to arrival, ensuring timely and accurate turnaround.
- Manage a regional or process area within the department, including working with the Recruitment team on conversion campaigns.
- Support other areas within the Admissions team as needed.
- Maintain accurate student databases for internal and external compliance.
- Prepare offer letters, pre-arrival information, and acceptance letters.
- Communicate courteously and efficiently with customers and colleagues.
- Maintain knowledge of Admissions software, databases, and the firm's portfolio of centres, courses, and entry requirements.
- Ensure compliance with UKVI and visa regulations.
- Perform additional duties as necessary for effective business operation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree or equivalent (preferred).
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- High professionalism and excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Attention to detail, cultural awareness, and sensitivity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Team player with supportive attitude.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with CRM systems or customer databases.
- Experience in a global business or education environment.
- Knowledge of UK/US education systems and visa regulations.
The position is an 8-month FTC with hybrid working (2 days in the office, more during busy times). Located in Cambridge, with a salary of £25,500 pro-rata plus benefits.
