Job Description
Administrative Assistant - HYBRID - 6 MONTH FTC\nSalary: £23,000\n Contract: Fixed Term - 6 months\n Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday\n Location: Edinburgh City Centre\nHybrid (2 - 3 days per week in Edinburgh office, including Tuesday)\n\nWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Administrative Assistant to join their team on a fixed term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual to provide vital support to senior leadership and executive teams.\n\nAbout the Role\nThe successful candidate will deliver a wide range of administrative responsibilities, including diary management, meeting coordination, document preparation, and inbox management. You will work closely with the Executive Assistant to ensure smooth day to day operations and provide reliable backup to senior leaders.\n\nThis role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Previous office experience is an advantage, but we value interpersonal skills, initiative, and eagerness to learn.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage busy inboxes, triaging and responding to enquiries.\nProvide administrative support to senior leadership and executive teams.\nAssist with diary management, scheduling, and meeting preparation.\nPrepare and proofread documents, agendas, and reports.\nCoordinate travel and accommodation arrangements.\nSupport internal and external events.\nAssist with onboarding and offboarding processes.\nHandle confidential information with discretion.~\n Person Specification\n\nEssential:\n\nHighly organised and detail-focused.\nStrong IT skills (Microsoft Office and Teams).\nExcellent written and verbal communication.\nAbility to prioritise and work under pressure.\nProfessional and confident when liaising with stakeholders.\nPrevious experience in administration or office support.Desirable:\n\nExperience in customer-facing roles.Benefits\n\nFlexible working arrangements.\n28 days annual leave plus bank holidays.\nGenerous pension scheme.\nSupportive and collaborative team environment.This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Office Angels who are operating as an employment agency.
