Administrator – Morden Office (Ref: 943)

Salary: £28,713 pa rising to £33,889 pa after four years’ service.

Location: Meldrum House, 89-91 Middleton Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 6RF (Please note that the office will be moving to Croydon) NB; this role is fully office-based.

Hours of Work: 10.00 am – 6.00 pm (Monday to Thursday), 10.00 am – 5.00 pm (Friday).

The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers is one of the UK’s largest trade unions.

A vacancy exists for an Administrator based at the Union’s Morden Office.

Principal duties are: to provide a typing and clerical/administrative support service.

The successful applicant will possess: telephone and reception skills; the ability to work harmoniously in a small team and with individual colleagues; the ability to demonstrate tact, initiative and discretion; the ability to communicate effectively; well-developed planning and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines; IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
