Description Job title: Advanced Apprentice Electrician Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Cumbria) Salary:Starting from 14,527 23,493 per annum dependent on age, with annual progression through the scheme duration What youll be doing: Working from planned drawings to install, terminate and test all electrical equipment within a Submarine environment. Develop competence in the fabrication and fitting of a variety of cable supports, penetrations and the installation of electrical equipment using different types of resilience mounts. Crimping and termination are an important part of this role where attention to detail and the ability to produce defect-free work is essential. Opportunity to work on a variety of electrical systems e.g. lighting, fire detection and communication systems. Use a variety of hand tools, specialist components and equipment in nuclear reactors and services electrical testing environments.
