Arden White Aerospace & Aviation Recruitment are currently working with a leading aerospace manufacturing organisation who are seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Manager to lead and develop their Quality function.This is a key leadership position responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System in line with AS9100 standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the business.As Quality Manager, you will take ownership of the organisation's QMS, leading audits, managing the quality team, and working cross-functionally to ensure the highest standards are embedded throughout manufacturing operations.This role requires a strong, hands-on leader with a background in aerospace or precision engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, maintain, and continuously improve the AS9100 Quality Management SystemEnsure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, customer, and regulatory requirementsManage internal, external, certification, customer, and regulatory auditsLead root cause investigations, CAPA activities, and non-conformance managementOversee supplier quality including audits, approvals, and performance monitoringManage First Article Inspection processes (AS9102) and validation activitiesCollaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to embed quality standardsDevelop, mentor, and lead the Quality teamMonitor and report on key quality KPIs and drive improvement initiativesEnsure effective control of quality documentation and recordsAbout YouYou will be an experienced Quality professional with a proven background in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments, capable of leading teams and driving measurable improvements.Essential ExperienceProven Quality Management experience within aerospace or precision engineeringStrong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 standardsExperience managing audits (internal, external, and customer)Expertise in non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and CAPAAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsDesirable QualificationsAS9100 Lead Auditor / Internal AuditorISO 9001 Lead AuditorSix Sigma Green Belt or Black BeltGD&T certificationExperience with AS9102 First Article InspectionLean Manufacturing certificationDegree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or QualityIndustry ExperienceAerospace manufacturingPrecision engineering or sheet metal fabricationSupplier quality managementWelding/fabrication standards (ISO 3834 / EN 1090)Key SkillsQuality leadership and team developmentAudit and compliance managementRoot cause analysis and problem solvingContinuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma)Strong analytical and organisational abilityExcellent communication and stakeholder engagementWhy Apply?This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking aerospace organisation where you can make a real impact, lead a high-performing team, and drive quality excellence across the business.If you feel you have the skills to succeed in this role, please click to apply.Arden White specialises in technical engineering recruitment, and all job applications are managed by our team.
